Spartanhack, programming and entrepreneurship

The Spanish company offers a wide variety of courses focused on technology and the ecosystem of startups

The most demanded professions and competences at present did not exist ten or even five years ago". This is one of the statements in the report 'The future of jobs: Employment, skills and strategy of the workforce for the fourth industrial revolution' signed by the World Economic Forum.

The irruption of technology and Industry 4.0 has changed the world of work and entrepreneurship is almost an obligation when it comes to entering the market or breaking through as a successful entrepreneur.

However, that change of mentality has not reached the whole society. Between 2012 and 2016, Spain is ranked as the penultimate country (only behind Bulgaria) in the rate of entrepreneurs . Only 2.6% of people between 18 and 64 years old create their own or shared company that has been running for less than three months, below the European average of 4%, according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ( OECD).

These two ingredients are the cocktail that Spartanhack has created to open their school next Monday, March 5. "It's time to grow up. It's time to create. Schedule your future. " With this flag they present a Programming and Entrepreneurship Course "focused on introducing in these environments any person interested and motivated to develop their own project, regardless of their previous knowledge", they point out.

A training divided into 9 weeks aimed at establishing the basic pillars of programming . The course is focused on learning current technologies and languages such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Firebase, NodeJS.

"It's a very young project, a commitment to the future, and a temptation for any age," explains Antonio Serrano, CEO of Spartanhack. Training of the 'future' that is taught in Alcobendas (Madrid) and whose courses are subsidized with several scholarships.

The school offers a wide variety of courses focused on programming, disruptive technology and the ecosystem of startups. Among the training highlights the program in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection that "aims, on the one hand, to address these disruptive technologies from both a technical and legal point of view; and on the other hand, analyze the practical challenges that they pose ", they explain.

The prices of the courses vary according to their duration. From the 850 euros of the course of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence to the 3,500 euros of the Programming and Emprendimento.
